Excerpt from A Cowboy and a Kiss By Dianne Castell Gray unwound the towel from Sunny's hair and dropped it on the floor. He looked into her eyes' gently wove his fingers through her damp curls' massaging her scalp then the nape of her neck. He kissed her nose' her chin' then her lips' making her insides warm and heavy with wanting him. He ran his hands down her arms to her waist and nuzzled her neck' "Things haven't been easy since you got here." "I think they're getting better." Her gaze found his. "We should go upstairs." "Too far. And somewhere between here and there we could come to our senses and realize this in not a great idea. I don't want to come to my senses right now' Gray. Maybe tomorrow." His eyes widened a fraction. "You sure you want to do this?" Her lips savored the feel of his' his arms surrounded her' pulling her tight to his chest. All man' all rugged cowboy. He smelled of pine trees' rich earth' Texas sunshine' and she burned for him. He pulled back' then stood' their bodies together face-to-face' hip-to-hip' his erection pressing into her belly. She wasn't the only one burning. He scooped her up in his arms and sat her gently on the table' this time he nestled himself between her legs. She said' "Whenever I look at this pool table I'll think of tonight." He kissed her. "And have some damn good memories." He kissed her again' his tongue mating with hers. His hands slid under her flowing robe' cupping the sides of her breasts' his thumb grazing her left nipple' then her right and she gasped in sheer pleasure. "It's not exactly where I thought we'd make love." His voice low' ragged' rough. "You thought about this?" Her mouth so dry she could barely get the words out. "You're incredibly beautiful' you're a one-woman rescue squad and I admire you. I'm saying all this while you still have your clothes on so you know these words aren't entirely fueled by lust." She laughed. "Maybe a little lust?" His eyes narrowed' a wicked smile played at his lips. "Babe'
when I'm with you there's always lust."
